Brushy Fork Environmental Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Civil CAD / Environmental Technician to join our team. We are looking for a motivated individual who wants to be an integral part of a group of professionals that provide superior environmental consulting and stream restoration full delivery services.

Job Description

In this position,  you will use your knowledge and experience with computer aided design software to provide support to the various disciplines within the company. Typical tasks include preparation of site grading plans, erosion control plans, SWPPPs, create alignments/surfaces, detail sheets, stream design (longitudinal and cross-sectional design),  and diagrams that are needed for preparing permitting and construction documents. You will also assist with calculation of earthwork volumes and material quantities used for construction estimates.

 Minimum Qualificiations

Bachelors degree and/or certificate in engineering, engineering technology or computer aided drafting, OR related degree in the environmental sciences (or have equivalent work experience);

Intermediate to expert stream assessment/survey (total station/GPS) abilities are a must;

Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D, and ESRI mapping software;

Have strong communication skills, attention to detail and be able to work both independently and as part of a team;

Stream assessment and design experience;

Rosgen Training preferred;

Can-do attitude.
