Education: B.S.  Biology, East Tennessee State University


After graduating from East Tennessee State University, Seth accepted an internship with Clinch Valley Soil and Water Conservation District where he assisted with the dispensation and implementation of Virginia Agricultural BMP Cost-Share Program projects for the 2015 and 2016 fiscal years. His duties there included GIS mapping, land owner relations, and conservation planning. At the end of his internship, Seth became a provisional biology teacher at Castlewood High School in Russell County, VA where he instructed students in general biology and environmental science during the 2016-17 school year.  In 2017 Seth joined the BFEC team as an environmental specialist where he is using his knowledge and skills to conserve and restore the lovely natural resources of the Southern Appalachians.
