BFEC’s Engineering Division is currently seeking candidates for the position of Surveyors. Entry level and internship applicants are welcome.
Job Description
Surveyors are needed to collect topographic data using GPS and Total Station for existing condition, design, as built certification, and monitoring documentation; set survey controls and stake out grading/ structures for construction, and create existing and design surfaces using Civil 3D.
All positions are expected to be multi-disciplinary, assisting fellow team members with tasks such as data collection, project implementation, environmental monitoring, and construction management as needed. The desire to learn new skills and to advance your current understanding of different environmental components is a must!
Minimum Qualifications
- Academic degree in engineering or related environmental sciences (or have equivalent work experience)
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D; GPS and Total Station surveying equipment
- Have strong communication skills, attention to detail and must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
